I just came across what was to be my Tintin review, clearly I started this then forgot all about it. Well here is my unfinished and very late review!
So Last night I watched Tin Tin with the fiancé, I was sort of looking forward to it, though I was worried i would get bored or not find it as thrilling as the other half would (he who is a massive Tintin fan), it turned out that those worries were justified.I guess I will just add to the end of this that though Tintin was an excellently made film and children and fans alike will really like this film, as a casual viewer I was not enthralled, the biggest highlight of the film being Captain Haddock and to a lesser extent... Snowy!
As a film, visually, I cannot fault it, the animations were brilliant, I loved that it both looked real and part of a cartoon, that was fantastic. Spielberg really pulled out all the stops and once again a ~Spielberg film was accompanied by a score done by the always amazing John Williams.
