Stargate

Just wanted to make a quick post about my favourite show in the entire world, that and im killing time before work.

Right so about a decade ago I came across a show i found interesting, it was a new type of sci-fi show i hadn't seen before, instead of the usual, set in space hundreds of years in the future (ala Star Trek), it was set in the present day, on Earth with normal humans and normal technology at our disposal. This show was called Stargate SG:1. I fell in love immediately, later on i found out it was based on a movie, simply titled Stargate. After going back and watching the movie and the show from start I was definitely hooked.

Now a decade later, i have seen the end of SG:1's travels (with the hope of more movies), i have seen the first spin off, Stargate Atlantis, from scratch and watched that evolve into its own masterpiece of television (admittedly there were a few mistakes, as with all shows) and now i have just finished season 1 of the brand new show, Stargate universe.

This post is just a little view into how much i love these shows, what i intend to do more with this blog is delve deeper into certain aspects of these shows (and others) so i can put my opinion across to you all. I hope you will find what i have to say on these matters both intersting and informative.

For now though, i am off to work.
